The DIY Nails Inc manicure: from glitter to aztec

A few months ago I decided on a whim that I wanted to get a Nails Inc manicure in Frasers (I was feeling pretty flash, this doesn't happen too often) and went for it. And as much as I loved getting my nails painted while I sat dizzily inhaling fumes from the fragrance hall, it's not something I can afford to do often. But what I have been drawn back again and again for is the nail polishes.

The colour selection is great, and the polishes go on evenly, smoothly and last a long time. Which is everything you need from a nail polish really. At £11/12 they're not cheap, but considering that first manicure lasted a whole week - and this timescale can be replicated if I am VERY patient while painting my nails - I think it's worth it for a few special colours. 

I went for a nice deep purple for winter, which I topped up with glitter after lusting over the sparkly nails getting done at Bold Souls on Saturday. I would have got some nail art done myself, but my hungover sister wasn't for sitting around while I got them done, so I went straight to Boots for a glitter topcoat and one of the WAH nails for Models Own nail art pens to attempt Aztec nails on round two - easier than it looks. What do you think?
