With snow on it's way to Scotland, I'm casting my mind to warmer climes...and getting my fix with Love My Custom's AW jewellery collection.
With the 'Black and Gold' collection's gold mirrored and acrylic jewels depicting everything from seashells to palm-lined sunsets, it makes sense that I decided to hunt out the images the brand sent me at around the same time I started to plan a trip somewhere warm and sunny to take my mind off the January blues (we're thinking Barcelona in spring - any tips?).
Love My Custom was founded in 2010 by Lisa-Marie Carter - and since then the brand has gone from strength to strength, pulling in celebrity clients such as Rita Ora and WAH Nails, which doesn't surprise me with their bold and fun designs.
Come payday February I hope to be in a position to afford to buy and layer the sunset necklace over a shirt and knitted jumper, with a pop of neon thrown in somewhere. At least until the summer rolls around and I can wear it with a Hawaiian print dress.
Until then I'll just need to find warmth with my fair isle onsie (yes, I was brought up to date with this 'trend' over Christmas). This weekend I spent quite a lot of time in it, lazing by the fire, reading and watching Sons of Anarchy. So cold weather's not all bad - just a bit sweeter with a reminder of summer.
